Amelia’s work has explored topics of gender and sexual diversity within secondary and postsecondary settings, focused on curriculum, policy, and environment.

2SLGBTQIA+ Seniors

Amelia’s current work explores intergenerational connectivity and resilience within older 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and addresses ageism, ableism, and isolation.

Community Organizing

Amelia’s keen interest in community building, grassroots organizing, knowledge sharing and advocacy is fueled by twenty years of 2SLGBTQIA+ activism in Atlantic Canada.
